Five Little Pumpkins

Hi everyone! Today I am posting a project I did for a calender challenge at Challenge Masters that was to have a school theme. This is from the Spring Program at Maggie's school. It was titled Sing a Song for Seasons and each kindergarten class was a different season. Maggie's class was fall. They sang Five Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Fence! Thanks so much for looking!

This is a layout I did for a challenge of the Calender Girls at Two Peas in a Bucket. You were to scraplift a CG and a side challenge was to make your layout and embellishments totally from scraps other then your cardstock base, and a card from those scraps. The first layout is done by jchilds at Two Peas and is the lo I lifted.

A big Thank you to her for her inspiration. This is my layout and the following is my card.

An August Sunday Afternoon!

I finally get to scrap and have 2 layouts I finished today. The first one is one I really wanted to do a different way and still may. Our Maggie loves to play dress-up just like most little girls. Her cousin Courtney gave her this pretty princess outfit to play in and I caught the Damsel In Distress in the tower of the castle about to be rescued by her brother!
This layout is for a scraplift challenge over at Challenge Masters for this month. I did these photos of Maggie at age 6 months. I used My Mind's Eye's Petal Pusher collection and some of the flowers are from Prima.

Thanks for looking and come on by anytime!

Hot Summer's Day!

It's 90 plus degrees here today and Maggie and Bobby are playing indoors. Maggie wanted a project to do so I gave her some paper, stamps, ink and markers. She loves the sea creature stamps and decided to stamp those images and color them. Then we cut some clouds and waves which she applied to her picture. I told her we would put it on the blog for everyone to see. So here's Maggie's work of art for today!

Thanks for Looking and stop by again soon!

Brothers

This layout has quite a story behind it! This dog & cat belong to my friend and neighbor. Rory the cat loves to rub against the dog, his version of hugging him. So far these are the best photos we have been able to get. Last Sunday the cat disappeared. We could not find him anywhere. Today he finally showed up in the football field behind our homes. Seven nights he was missing. Thinking he was a goner I had done this lo for Barb to have...and here it is!

I used hearts as the center of the paw pads. Thanks for looking!

Love that Smile!

Here's a layout I did for the recipe challenge over at CM. You had to use patterned cs, 2 flowers, one arrow, three brads, and stitching-faux or the real thing! I used MME diecut cs for the bg,and BoBunny flowers. The journaling reads-"You couldn't wait to lose your teeth, but now you can't eat corn on the cob! Thanks for looking!

Here's a layout I did based on a sketch by Allison Davis. The cs is AC, the pp and diecut are MME, and the stamps are by Imaginesce and I colored them with Stampin Up's watercolor crayons and blending pen. It's Bobby & Maggie playing in the wading pool in my backyard. Thanks for looking!

How to Beat the HEAT!!!!

Good Morning! We have all been experiencing the extreme heat this summer and dealing with it by staying indoors in the air conditioning. My grandchildren discovered a better way to Beat the Heat this summer! I am sure you will enjoy their remedy!

This is a layout I did for the BladeMasters challenge for this month at Ch{all}enge Masters. I cut ll the diecuts and alphas with my silhouette and the little popsicle sticks are BoBunny.

Tag Challenge!

Hi Everyone! Just a quick post to add the tag I did for August
Tag Challenge over at Challenge Masters! It was a lot of fun making this-it required a butterfly and bling! The tag is three layers, I stamped the second with a leaf stamp, then covered with a layer of white vellum. The butterfly is two layers, the top is purple vellum that I heat embossed with an irridescent embossing powder. Thanks for looking!
